After a difficult and exciting 2012 OCCRA season, the AdamBots were honored to take home the prestigious Foundation Award for the third year in a row.

The Foundation Award is given to the team that best demonstrates teamwork, cooperation and enthusiasm between each other, teachers, administration and other teams, enthusiasm for technical and academic disciplines such as design, engineering, physics, electronics, and the best communication of knowledge of robot to judges, shows an organized approach to problem solving, team safety, and demonstrates awareness of OCCRA in their community. We are glad that the judges think we display these qualities!

This OCCRA season has been a fun one and we are glad to be one of the many successful teams this year. Congratulations to all of the other teams who competed and to the other Foundation Award nominees! You are all excellent teams and we can’t wait to compete with you in the 2013 FIRST season and next years’ OCCRA!

Congratulations also goes out to the 2012 OCCRA All-County Team, which include our build captain Taney Patel. Honorable mentions for OCCRA Most Valuable Players also included two AdamBots, Steven Ploog and Eric Celerin, who are also engineering subteam captains. All three are seniors and members of the pit crew.
