2015 FRC Blogs: Build Weeks 3 & 4

Weeks 3 and 4 certainly kept our CAD team busy. After we had a few emotional bouts with our CAD software and some magical, disappearing parts, we set up a new organization system that seems to be keeping things in order a bit better.

Fabrication, on the other hand, had little to no work. Unfinished CAD meant no final parts to start making. In the spirit of “haste makes waste”, we got busy assembling and completing a thorough bill of materials. To prepare for the hectic weeks to come, we gave Metal Mart and The Robot Space some business and ordered the parts that our engineering sub team leaders promised wouldn’t change.

As for our non-engineering teams, they kept busy by working on Woodie Flower award, Business Plan, Media and Technology award, and Chairman’s.
