8th Grade Orientation
On March 15, the families of 8th graders came to Adams High School to learn about the school’s classes and clubs. Our team demonstrated our robots and talked to perspective AdamBots. We are glad to get to reach out to our community through programs like these.

Elementary School Demo
The AdamBots visited our local elementary schools to giving robot demonstration and spreading the mission of FIRST.

AdamBots Boot Camp
Developing a teamwork and culture are important to the AdamBots. At our bootcamp, we take time away from our robots to build communication skills, plan fun events for the team, and review our core values. Activities included leadership developing and team building exercises.

Relay for Life
The AdamBots raised the most of any group at the 2017 Relay for Life in Rochester Hills Michigan.

K-3 STEM Career Exploration
The AdamBots work with Rochester Community School Afterschool Programs to teacher students in kindergaten to third grade about careers in STEM. Each class included learning about a type of engineering career, a type of simple machine, and doing a hands-on experiment. While mentors are there for supervision, it’s our wonderful AdamBot students that teachs these classes.

FLL
The AdamBots expanded their FLL program to include more elementary schools. Our RoboGeeks are now in their third year of competition. Mentored by two adult coaches and many AdamBots student, the RoboGeeks competed at ThunderQuest.

Rochester Hometown Christmas Parade
We paired up with our rookie team from the other high school in our district to drive our robots in the local parade.

Ambassador Program
Our students spread STEAM education globally through specialized presentations, including England, Haiti, Mexico, and Japan.
