2017 FRC Blogs: Escanaba District Event
The AdamBots traveled to the Upper Peninsula for the Escanaba District this weekend! Arriving Thursday and competing Friday through Saturday, we had a very successful trip. We were ranked first of 39 throughout nearly all of the qualification matches. As the second alliance captains, we chose to compete alongside the BraveBots 4391 and Gladiators 6569. Despite fierce competition and tight matches, our alliance made it as far as the finals!
In addition to being finalists, the AdamBots won the Entrepreneurship Award for
our comprehensive Business Plan. We also earned the Pit Safety Award. As a result, we are now tied for 7th out of the 451 teams in Michigan!
Looking ahead, we will be competing at the Troy District Event on March 31st and April 1st. If you can’t make it, keep up with us on Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, or Twitter.
