In the fifth week of build, the AdamBots are preparing to finish our competition robot! The Electrical subteam is attaching the pneumatic system to our cube intake as the Mechanical subteams improve our lifting capabilities. Programming is working on our autonomous code while Computer Aided Design finishes the digital robot model. In just under a week, our robot will be completed and ready for competition!

Imagery is working alongside the engineering teams to make robot decals. Business Plan and Chairman’s submitted essays for the Chairman’s, Entrepreneurship, and Woodie Flowers Award. They are also collaborating with Photo/Video to create the 2018 Chairman’s Video, highlighting 20 years of AdamBots excellence. The team is remaining active in the community by demonstrating our 2009 robot at elementary school science fairs.

Partner Relations is finalizing the finer details of our open house, Meet the AdamBots. Anyone interested in our program is welcome to come and learn about what we do! The event will be 2:30-4:00, including a presentation, build space tour, and robot demonstration. We hope to see you there!
