On September 14th, the Adambots attended our first of two offseason events: The Kettering Kickoff! Along with 44 other FRC teams, we brought back our 2018 season Power Up! robot to finally end the 2018 season. From the beginning of the day, Adambots in the stands cheered for our drive team in every match, whether it was a win or a loss.

During the qualification matches, winning four of the seven matches which placed us in the 11th rank before the alliance selection. During alliance selection, we were chosen by Team 2834, the Bionic Black Hawks, and also joined with Team 862, Lightning Robotics, forming the fourth-ranked alliance. During a tough quarterfinal against the fifth-ranked alliance, we won one match but were unfortunately beaten by the fifth-ranked alliance for a place in the semifinals.

Our next competition will be the Oakland County Competitive Robotics Association Brother Rice Marion Tournament on October 20th, and our next FRC offseason event will be the Bloomfield Hills Girls’ Competition on November 10th. We hope to see you there!
