Build Week 1 Since the reveal of the 2019 game Destination: Deep Space last weekend, the AdamBots have been quite busy. After coming together as a team to discuss the overall strategy we will be focusing on after the kickoff, students and mentors have been meeting every evening to finalize our strategy and begin considering designs that we could use in our robot. After considering which ideas are better or worse, we prototype our designs to better measure their effectiveness.
As we begin to hone in on our final strategy and design, our Mechanical teams can start to fabricate part for the robot and put it together.

Beyond building a robot, the AdamBots have also been busy with business teams. The Chairman’s and Photo/Video teams have been collaborating to create the Chairman’s video, an important part of the submission the Chairman’s team works on. The Business Planning team has been working on creating a process for measurable learning. The Imagery team is beginning to discuss ideas for the decals they will put on our robot, while the Partner Relations team has been planning our annual Meet the AdamBots open house on February 23rd, where we will showcase our team and robot for the new season.
