2019 FRC Blogs: Troy District Event
This past weekend, the AdamBots attended the Troy district event at Troy Athens High School, our last event of the 2019 FRC competition season. The event ran from Friday to Saturday, with most of our qualification matches being on Friday. After 11 wins and only 1 loss in all of our qualification matches, we ended the day on Friday ranked 1st and were able to keep that rank for the rest of the competition!
Entering alliance selection as the 1st alliance captain, we chose Team 910, Foley Freeze, and Team 6117, Wingspan, to join us in the elimination matches. After making it through the quarterfinals and semifinals against the 8th and 5th alliances, we took the finals to our third tiebreaker finals match of the year. Eventually, we finished as event finalists and also took home the Quality award!
Since this event is our last of the season, we will now be looking forward to the Michigan State Championship, which will be at Saginaw Valley State University from April 11th to 13th. We hope to see you there!
