In addition to our regular Tuesday team meeting, which is held weekly over zoom at 4:00 pm, for the first time this season we had in-person meetings this week. On Wednesday, we had a meeting from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm for small groups of people from our CAD and Mechanical sub-teams where we disassembled parts of the 2020 robot and began fabrication of new parts. We also had another in-person meeting on Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm where we had small groups of students from our engineering sub-teams working in shifts on the robot. We disassembled part of the competition robot to make room for a new hopper and began designing a new intake. We have also held virtual meetings for our Project Management sub-team, Publicity and Communications sub-team, Business Planning sub-team, Chairman’s sub-team, Game Design Challenge team, Photo/Video sub-team meeting, and Imagery sub-team meeting as well as a design review/project planning meeting for all the engineering team leads. The Photo/Video sub-team began taking team photos of the freshmen and conducted freshman interviews. The Business Planning sub-team sent out a survey to evaluate the team’s performance on core values and sub-team skills to get a measurement for our KPIs. Overall, it has been a great week and we are excited to see what else we can accomplish in the next week of building!
