The business teams have started meeting in person throughout this week. Right now most of the teams are teaching the new members what it means to be a part of their sub-team. In Business planning we are teaching the new members the importance of a business plan and the key elements within it. In PR we are currently working on the newsletter and blog posts. Imagery is teaching students how to work with key software such as PhotoPea and GIMP. Photo/Video is showing new students the importance of the Chairman’s video, as well as practicing taking pictures/videos of students mentoring (FLE, FLC, FTC). Chairman’s right now is teaching the vital skills that are needed to be on the team and the importance of the Chairman’s award.

OCCRA right now is working through all the problems they encountered at the competition last week. Currently, they are fixing the electrical box and the chassis for further competitions. At the competition the OCCRA team won two matches despite extensive technical difficulties they experienced. The electrical box and chassis were prohibited as well as the motor short-circuited. Overall new and old students are learning more about each sub-team and OCCRA is overcoming their challenges.
