Most of our subteams have been on an extended break since the end of November. Business planning is currently working on updating information and graphics on the business plan. In Chairman’s we are currently working through the questions that are needed for the Chairman’s presentation in the Spring. Imagery received access to Adobe Photoshop so that we can start working on the graphics needed for this season. Currently, imagery is continuing to teach new students the ins and outs of this software. Photo/video has finished meeting for this season. At our next team meeting, however, the photo/video team will be taking team pictures for the team’s website. Digital Media has continued to update the website with current information and pictures. PR is continuing to write blog posts and newsletter articles.

Electrical is continuing to teach students. They also had been working on the parade robot before it got canceled. Mechanical has also been on a break since Thanksgiving but they continue to teach students how to use the tools around the build room while stressing the importance of safety and how to operate the tools safely. Programming is teaching students how to code and program the robot effectively. CAD is working on teaching CAD to students and how to build a robot using their software.

This Sunday we also hosted a scavenger hunt to raise money for one of our team members, non-profit Girls of the Crescent. We also hosted an FTC competition at Adams high school on Saturday in which all our students volunteered. Some students also attended an FLE competition to support the teams they have been mentoring.
