Build Week Summary #3

In Mechanical we are continuing to build the robot and should be finished by Monday. In Electrical we are continuing to build the electronics for the robot and that needs to be completed. Programming has finished programming the drive trains for the intake and is currently working on finishing programming the hanging. CAD is currently finishing making designs for the prototypes for the robot. Field Build is finishing building the set, which will help us practice driving our robot shortly.

The Business teams are currently working on various awards for our competitions. The Business Planning subteam is finalizing the business plan and updating information. We are also practicing answering questions for the entrepreneurship award. Imagery is working on covers for the business plan and the summary. They are also working on pit posters and decals for the robot. PR is working on the February Newsletter and continuing blog posts. Photo/Video is creating scripts for the Chairman’s video as well as filming Chairman’s video. Chairmans is finishing writing for the Chairman’s award as well as practicing. Digital Media uploading pictures from the science fair and different information that needs to be updated. 

We also demoed our robot as Long Meadow this past Monday (February 7th). We explained our robot to the children while switching the batteries. We also shot balls out to them and they rolled the balls back into the robot. We are excited about the prospect of future AdamBots and enjoy showing our community are robots.
