Fall Season Blogpost #5
This week the Mechanical subteam has been starting to make polycarb parts and they also started to assemble the intake. The Electrical subteam continued to work on the wiring for the swerve drive chassis. They attached a motor for the soon to be intake, and they began adding pneumatics for the pneumatic cylinders for the intake. The Programming subtema began working on intake for the swerve drive module as well as field orientation for it. They continued to teach the new kids more coding and are continuing to help get them ready for the FIRST season. The CAD subteam has been training newer members in using the designing software, and getting used to the different program functions. Older members have started work in designing parts necessary for the swerve drive project.
The Imagery/Photo Video subteam took interviews of mentees and mentors of our FTC teams that we mentor. The Media subteam has updated the site and trained their new members.
The Business Planning subteam continued updating statistics and information, and also worked on defining the team’s objectives and tactics to create a new section of the business plan. This week the Impact and Communications completed their rough draft of the 13 question summary.
The Adambots continue into their third week of outreach by participating in 3 amazing outreach events. On November 6, we held a scavenger hunt to raise awareness and money for women in Middle Eastern countries. We managed to raise a grand total of $245 that will go to donating books to promote education and literature in their communities.
