2024 SASA National Advocacy Conference

The AdamBots headed to Washington, D.C. to meet with staffers of Senators Gary Peters and Debbie Stabenow. We also met with staffers of Representatives Dan Kildee, Haley Stevens, John James, and with Representative Lisa McClain herself. We advocated for the increased funding for Title IV parts A and B of the Every Student Succeeds Act and the CHIPs and Science Act. We also raised the idea of dedicating a small percentage of the National Defense Authorization Act’s funding to robotics programs.

2024 Michigan Advocacy Conference

The Michigan STEM Advocacy Conference in Lansing was held on October 17, 2024. The AdamBots sent 4 students and met with state representatives Mark Tisdel and Michael Webber to advocate for students’ education through 99H of the Michigan State School Aid Budget.
