Sixth week
The AdamBots had yet another incredible week!
The Engineering teams are working hard to complete the robot and get it ready for competition!
This week, the CAD subteam completed the final renditions of the electrical board, kept up with the mechanical subteam for the shootake, made labels for all of the CAD computers and are now currently working on setting up their software system, Solidworks with a cloud based system. The Electrical team worked on wiring the harness and lime lights, made solenoid wires, and have been working alongside other subteams to support them. They have also been making progress with cleaning up the electrical board on the robot. The Mechanical subteam put lime lights on and connected them to the electrical board and moved the lime lights up for better position. They also positioned the bendy rod on the robot and are making a new wrist. The Programming subteam continued to test encoder positions for the arm and wrist, worked on creating autonomous paths and added fail safe to the robot.
The Business teams have been making great progress and are completing their projects!
This Impact team submitted their 13 question summary and executive essay! They are now working on building the display board to prepare for the impact presentation. This week the Sustainability subteam met with our principal and thought of ways to promote environmental sustainability in our school. They will be displaying posters to promote battery recycling, as well as creating short videos and slideshows to promote battery recycling which will be included in our school’s morning announcements. They have also started to revise the preliminary sustainability plan. The Scouting subteam has made great progress this past week. They have been provided with tablets and started to work on their alliance method.
