The engineering teams have been hard at work, ensuring all of the robot parts are quickly being built! The Mechanical subteam has finished the chassis and started working building the other parts. Electrical are ready to wire up the robot, they have also been collaborating with Programming for various aspects of the robot and working with Mechanical for motor testing. Programming has completed writing the commands for the basic robot functions and started to work on autonomous. The CAD subteam is working on creating the parts of the robot in CAD. Scouting is working on updating the scouting application they plan to use (ScoutRadioz) and has been collaborating with the other subteam leads to decide what data they will need. Supply Chain is communicating with the team leads, ensuring all parts and items are ordered as needed.

The business subteams have also been working hard! Impact has completed their submissions and is now working on finalizing the factbook, and preparing for the Impact presentation.

The Sustainability team has finalized this year’s sustainability plan, presented to our team about the sustainability award, and created a video to be shared with the school’s morning announcements to promote battery recycling within our school. The Imagery team is almost finished with the Impact decal and working on this year’s picture book. The Photo/Video team has been working on filming and editing for the Impact video.The Website team completed the Student and Mentor profiles, and are now working on the home page and carousel. Marketing and Communications has been keeping the social media updated.

The AdamBots are making great progress so far, and we are eager for our upcoming competition!
