The engineering teams have finalized a design for our robot! The Mechanical subteam has been communicating with CAD to get the final measurements for robot parts and have started making the various parts. The Electrical subteam has been testing motors, and holding additional training for team members and created a skills matrix. They have also been working with the programming team to install different sensors on the robot. Programming has written a command so the robot can drive towards any April tag, finalized the odometry of the robot, and gotten the robot to drive in the right direction in the IMU. The Scouting team has assigned roles and started to review what information they will need for the spider charts to analyze the data. They have also started to work on a one-pager for our game strategies that can be used to plan matches with the drive team and alliance scouters. Supply Chain has been ordering any parts any teams need so far.

The business teams have been working on the submissions needed before our first competition. Impact has finalized their 13 Questions Executive summary, started to make final edits on the essay, and have started to write the script for the Impact presentation. The Sustainability subteam has been updating the Sustainability plan’s financial section and initiating environmental sustainability initiatives throughout our school community, such as promoting battery recycling. The Photo/Video team is working on filming and editing the Impact video, as well as making “How-To-Do” videos for the team. Imagery is working on the decals for the Impact presentation and updating the picture book. Marketing and Communications and the Website subteams are keeping the team’s social media and website updated.
