It allowed me to sharpen my engineering, strategy, and building skills, while allowing me to take part in bringing a greater awareness and curiosity for science and technology.

What is your favorite memory from robotics?

The world FIRST competitions were where I had my favorite memories on the team. There I was able to interact with not just top companies, but with other students from around the world who shared my interests.

What have you learned from being on the team?

How to work with people with a variety of personalities, time management, how to effectively come up with a design, and time management.

What is special about FIRST?

It is the only organization of its kind. It allows students to interact and learn from mentors that have a vast knowledge of engineering, marketing, and a variety of other fields. It also brings students toward these fields of science and technology that are vital for humanities future.
