I joined the AdamBots my Freshman year because I did not know many people at Adams and I wanted to make new friends. I was also previously involved in an engineering club in Middle school and wanted to continue learning more about science and technology.

What is your favorite memory from robotics?

My favorite memory from robotics was when we went to the beach during the Palmetto Regional. We took tons of pictures and relaxed after a long day of competition.

What have you learned from being on the team?

I have learned how to communicate with my peers and how to be a leader. I also have learned how to work the various machines in the back room.

What is special about FIRST?

FIRST is special because it allows students to experience for themselves what it’s like to be an engineer. It presents challenges that force students to think outside the box and build a competitive robot.
