What are 2 fun facts about you?

I am president of Stoney Creek High School’s quiz bowl team.
I’m a huge nerd and am addicted to Minecraft, the Hunger Games, Harry Potter, and Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Why did you join the Adambots?

I actually wanted to join last year because I was in a Lego League in elementary school and just couldn’t wait to do the “real deal.” I also really wanted to try out programming, as I had just learned Java that year. Unfortunately, I missed the first meeting, and had no idea who to talk to or what to do, but luckily my friend was on the team, and helped me on this year.

What is your favorite memory from robotics?

Being my first year, I really don’t have many, but I really enjoy spending the weekends at the workshop, programming.

What have you learned from being on the team?

Robotics really taught me the value of teamwork, what it means to be a leader, but also what it means to be a good person, to be graciously professional.

What are you excited about for FIRST?

I really enjoyed the energy at OCCRA competitions, and I’m really looking forward to experiencing the larger and greater energy at FIRST competitions. Unfortunately, I wasn’t invited to the Myrtle Beach competition, but I hope I can attend future events.
