What are 2 fun facts about you?
I am good at math.
I have a dream to be challenger level in League of Legends.
Why did you join the Adambots?
I joined the AdamBots because I was looking for a club to be apart of where I can use my math and science skills to do something and increase my knowledge about things related to math and science. In addition, I joined because my dad does work with robots in his job and I always hear about the stuff he was doing. Everything sounded like it was so much fun.
What is your favorite memory from robotics?
My favorite memory from robotics is the first day of the FIRST season in 2012. I wasn’t really spending too much time at robotics, and just barely had enough time to make the FIRST season. I decided that I was going to see what it was like to stay late for once. I stayed there till it was dark outside and made 4 new friends that would be some of my best friends. In addition, that night I found out just how much I love this club and the team.
What have you learned from being on the team?
From being on the team, I have enhanced my knowledge of programming (this includes everything from learning the new language, Java, to learning how code is supposed to be structured), I have learned how to not be afraid of power tools, and H have learned how to have a life that doesn’t include me sitting at home in front of a computer playing video games.
What is special about FIRST?
FIRST is special because it incorporates not just the engineering side of things, but also the business side of things. In addition, it brings real world uses for the math and science that we learn in school. To me personally, FIRST has given me the opportunity to meet a ton of new people, and to make tons of new friends. Also, it is what kept me from not bettering myself by not playing video games.
