My daughter Kat was active on the team and said they needed some help. I also enjoyed watching the competitions so thought I should get more involved.

What is your favorite memory from robotics?

Seeing how well the team did at competitions.

What have you learned from being on the team?

The team is teaching the kids a lot more than just how to build a robot.

Do you have any tips for the current AdamBots?

Try a new sub team next year, you may find an interest that turns into a career.

What is special about FIRST?

The Coopertition mindset. You are competing while helping other teams. Also being on a FIRST team exposes students to different possible career interests they may not learn about in a traditional school environment.
