What are 2 fun facts about you?

I do electrical engineering at work and do mechanical engineering and fabrication at robotics.
I have an identical twin brother.

Why did you join the Adambots?

My son was on the team in 2002/2003 until 2005 and I just stayed after.

What is your favorite memory from robotics?

My favorite memory was when the Lambots scored their first point at the Alamo regional in 2011. I was in the middle of their team in the stands and the cheering was tremendous.

What have you learned from being on the team?

I’ve learned to let experienced students “loose” and let them “do it on their own”. I’ve also learned to have patience with students who are new or do not have much experience.

What is special about FIRST?

FIRST lets me meet (and mentor) the engineers of the future. Having done this for the last 11 years, I am sure this world will be in good hands.
