What is a fun fact about you?
I’m always ready to talk about my sports passions of bicycle track racing and downhill skiing.
Why did you join the Adambots?
I got involved when my son joined the team. I’m still with the team for the satisfaction of seeing a robot and team come together, sometimes with great success, but always with the growth and confidence as the students move from Freshmen to Seniors.
What is your favorite memory from robotics?
One of the more vivid memories was during the first few days our first year when my son was taught how to machine parts on the Bridgeport.
What have you learned from being on the team?
It is amazing what can be accomplished is such a short time when you a committed team of mentors and students.
Do you have any tips for the current AdamBots?
What is something you would have wanted to do differently to reach where you are today? (career-wise or to get to the AdamBots)
What is special about FIRST?
FIRST is so special because it is so effective in exposing and inspiring the students to the engineering fields and teaching the students how to work with a team.
