What are 2 fun facts about you?

I find the exploration of space fascinating and I love nature.

Why did you join the AdamBots?

My older brother was on the team and my parents became mentors. I thought it would be something interesting to try out that was outside of my comfort zone.

What is your favorite memory from robotics?

Meeting new people, becoming close with team members, and making countless memories with them. Also falling in love with STEM and determining what I want my future to look like.

What have you learned from being on the team?

When I joined robotics, I planned on staying on the business side since I had little engineering knowledge. I ended up being sucked into the build process and have learned everything I know about engineering and business today from robotics. I have learned how to communicate my ideas better and how to be a professional young adult.

What is special about FIRST?

FIRST is definitely “more than robots.” Your team becomes your family. You’re connected with people from all over your state, your country, and the world with FIRST. It’s truly an amazing experience walking through the pits at the World Championships knowing you are all apart of something bigger. FIRST showed me a direction toward my future and has opened amazing opportunities for me in the STEM community.
