The 2015 Season
The 2015 season was a great year for the AdamBots. The game for 2015 was Recycle Rush. The game consisted of stacking totes and recycle bins in order to increase the team’s average in order to advance throughout competition. The AdamBots’ solution was Anastasia, a robot with internal and external mechanisms designed to stack totes and pick up recycling bins.

This was our most successful competition of the season, and the place where our robot got a chance to shine! We stayed as the number one seed throughout most of the competition and never dropped below third place. We were the 1st alliance captain, which allowed us to be first to invite team 1711, The Raptors, to our alliance. We were joined by team 5692, the Chief-bots, a rookie team. The three of us worked together like clockwork to stack our way to district Champions. along with being the event champions, the Adambots also won the chairman’s award, which is considered to be the most prestigious award that FIRST offers. Because of the points gained from the Chairman’s award and winning the finals, we qualified for the state championship, where we would compete against the best robots in the state of Michigan!
