2018 Kettering KickoffDuring the qualification matches, winning four of the seven matches which placed us in the 11th rank before the alliance selection. During alliance selection, we were chosen by Team 2834, the Bionic Black Hawks, and also joined with Team 862, Lightning Robotics, forming the fourth-ranked alliance. During a tough quarterfinal against the fifth-ranked alliance, we won one match but were unfortunately beaten by the fifth-ranked alliance for a place in the semifinals. Read the blog post here. |

2018 FIRST Bloomfield Hills Girls’ CompetitionRanked 26th, we were selected for the 5th alliance of 8 for the elimination rounds. Our partners 548, 1504, and 830 showed their excellence at scoring on the switch and vault as we focused on loading the scale. Our quarterfinal matchup was against our sister team, the Stoney Creek Cyber Cats, on the 4th alliance. Despite an early loss, we managed to pull off the upset and win the series, moving onto the semifinals. We then won a match against the 1st alliance! Although we did not make it to the finals, we’re excited to have made it as far as we did and performed on such a high level. Read the blog post here. |
